Few countries have developed to the extent that Viet Nam has within the last thirty years. The country balances cutting edge technology with a vibrant history that still shapes their lives.
In the North, people live much of their lives on the pavement; in the streets; and in the temples, which remain relevant for the younger generation. The non la, or conical hat, is ubiquitous.
The South still bears the scars of previous aggression, which will mark its people for generations.
